Exodus
Exodus is a fellowship of people who are seeking God's healing and deliverance in our lives. We offer each other our experiences, strength, support, and hope in Christ to overcome our addictions and habitual sin. Exodus applies the biblical principles of AA's 12-step program. These are the foundation the Exodus program is built on:
.Exodus believes everybody can experience deliverance and healing from our addictions and habitual sins.
.Exodus does not distinguish among vices, but acknowledge the one solution in Jesus Christ.
.Exodus values anonymity in our program. We strive for a safe environment where people can be real and honest without fear of condemnation or judgment.
.Exodus encourages accountability. We believe in the strength of sponsorship and joining together daily to achieve victory.
.Exodus is forward-looking. Our focus is not on the past but rather on making wise decisions now and in the future; depending on God's power to help make those changes.
.Exodus emphasizes personal responsibility. We do not promote a "victimized" mentality. Members face the fact that we made the decisions that led us to destruction. It was because we could not manage our lives that we need the one true Higher Power to deliver and heal us.
.Exodus promotes service work and emphasizes the power of restoration through helping your fellow man.
.Exodus believes that the grace and love of Jesus is where restoration is found.
